Prerequisite Knowledge
- A Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent and two years of software engineering development experience.
- You must have written some code and have experience with the practical problems of producing software within the constraints of cost, quality and time. (If there is any doubt as to whether you meet these prerequisites, Institute for Advanced Studies in Softeware Egnineering (IASSE ) faculty and staff will gladly assist you with a personal assessment.)
- We think that mathematics is an excellent background for computing. Some of our computing classes draw heavily on math.
- It is recommended the applicant have one years experience with commercial, industrial or Government software development or maintenance.
